Commonly known as Monkey Pod or Suarwood. Raintree Wood is native to South America and was later introduced to Southeast Asia as plantation species. Exuding natural golden to rich brown hues, its striking grain patterns, coupled with adequate strength and durability, making this hardwood an ideal choice in crafting distinctive, high quality furniture.

We source our Raintree Wood slabs from Indonesia, in different sizes ranging from 4ft to 10ft, with thicknesses of 50 – 70mm, to ensure balanced drying and stability. Depending on your needs, you can select the wood dimensions and design, we will manually sand and refine each piece to achieve your desire look.

Reimagined Timber

Native to Southeast Asia, Teak Wood is widely cultivated as plantation species due to its fast growing properties. Sourced locally and from Indonesia, Teak is often available in smaller width and thus we will incorporate epoxy resin to enhance both form and function.

1. What wood species do you offer?

We offer Raintree wood (also known as Suar wood) and Teak wood. Our Raintree wood slabs are available as full-piece live edge slabs, while Teak wood is primarily used for our bespoke epoxy resin table collection.

2. Can wood slabs be used outdoors?

Our wood slabs are designed for indoor use. If placed outdoors, they should be kept in a fully covered and shaded area, away from direct sunlight and rain, to preserve their beauty and longevity.

3. How do I care for my wood slab table?

To keep your solid wood slab looking its best:

  • Use placemats or coasters when serving food and drinks to protect the surface from heat, moisture and stains.
  • Wipe up spills promptly using a soft damp cloth and mild soap.
  • Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they may damage the protective finish.
  • Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth or microfibre duster to prevent dust build-up and fine scratches.

With proper care, a solid wood slab table can last for generations.

6. Do your wood slabs come with a warranty?

Yes. We provide a 1-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects, including issues such as wood infestations and abnormal cracking under normal indoor use.

7. What is the lead time for a custom wood slab table?

Lead times vary depending on the material:

  • Raintree wood slabs: Approximately 2 weeks
  • Epoxy resin tables: Approximately 2–4 weeks, depending on the design and curing process
