1. Timber and timber veneer
- Intended for indoor use only, unless stated otherwise
- Protect against scratches: For tables, when serving food and drinks, please use placemats to prevent potential damage from stains, water
mark, heat and scratches; For case goods, use furniture protectors under the legs to prevent scratching the floor while moving. - Cleaning:
Clean spills promptly with mild soap and damp soft cloth, avoid using harsh chemicals as they can harm the wood’s protective layer. - Regular Maintenance:
Use soft, dry cloth or microfibre duster to regularly remove dust and debris from furniture surface, as accumulation of dust might cause scratches. - Safety:
Don’t overload shelves or drawers with heavy items, as it can strain the furniture and lead to structural damage. Use anti-tipping kits for tall and bulky furniture such as dressers, cabinets and bookcases to enhance safety of homes. - Do not leave excess water to air dry on the wood or veneer surface, wipe it dry with a cloth.
2. Metal and stainless steels
- For routine cleaning, use a soft, damp cloth or sponge to gently wipe the metal and stainless-steel surfaces. This helps prevent the buildup of
grime and maintain the shine. - Cleaning:
To remove stains, use only mild soap and damp soft cloth or sponge. Avoid using abrasive or harsh chemicals which can harm the
coating and accelerate the metal’s aging process. - Do not leave excess water to air dry on metal surface, wipe them dry after cleaning.
- Keep in mind that excessive cleaning of the metal surface can reduce their lifespan and increase the risk of rust. We recommend cleaning on a
weekly or bi-weekly basis to maintain their condition.
3. Fabric, PU, PVC, Microfabric, Jute fibre rope, Cotton
Fabric, Microfabric:
Vacuum regularly with upholstery attachment to remove dust and particles. Clean spills promptly with damp cloth or sponge, blot the affected area (do not rub).
PU, PVC:
Wipe with clean, damp cloth to remove dust. Use only mild soap and damp cloth to clean, avoid using abrasive or harsh chemicals which can damage the surface. Ensure it is thoroughly dried with a dry cloth after cleaning.
Jute fibre rope:
Dust the surfaces with soft brush or cloth. By spot cleaning, wipe away stains with damp cloth. Allow the jute to dry completely to prevent mould or mildew
Cotton:
Vacuum or dust the surfaces to prevent dust build ups. Machine wash (If applicable) for removeable cotton covers; For non-removable cotton parts, address spills with clean damp cloth or sponge. Ensure it is fully dried after cleaning to prevent mildew.
4. Marble, sintered stone, tempered glass
Marble:
Wipe the marble surface with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and particles. Use mild, non-abrasive cleaner only. If a spill occurs, blot it immediately to prevent it from seeping into the porous surface. Refrain from placing heavy objects on marble surface that could lead to scratches or cracks.
Sintered stone:
Clean the stone with mild soap and damp cloth only as harsh chemicals may dull the surface. Though sintered stone is known for its heat, stain and scratch resistance, it is still advisable to prompt clean the spills and avoid exposing it to extreme temperature changes and sharp objects.
Tempered glass:
Use only mild, non-abrasive cleaners; Clean with soft, lint-free cloth or paper towels. Avoid placing heavy or unevenly distributed weight on glass surfaces.
